There was fierce competition at the Pirelli World Cup Touring race at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park—but with the help of the yet-to-be-released 2017 Honda Civic Si, the Shea Racing Team managed to score a win.

Despite a collision ending the race early on Saturday, leaving the Shea team in fourth place, the race on Sunday proved to be just what the team needed to bring in a win. The repairs to their vehicle proved difficult as the 2017 Honda Civic Si is not available yet, but the team found a way to fix the parts that needed it.

The car repairs were not the only daunting features of the day, rain through the morning was not letting up as race time approached. The team had to choose whether to leave slick tires on or to switch to rain tires. Ultimately, the team stayed on their slick tires, which paid off. Many competitors opted for rain tires, but the majority of the race ended up being dry.

While you still have to wait for the 2017 Honda Civic Si to arrive, our team at Economy Honda Superstore is excited to show you our currently available new Honda vehicles at our Chattanooga dealership!
